I've been to most of the gyms in the region. Which fan base do you think gives their team the biggest home court advantage. Based on gym, fans, atmosphere, loudness, etc.

Once upon a time it would've been the Fieldhouse and wouldn't even be close.

Augusta. The little gym that's 10 years from it's 100th birthday is a very tough place to win when it's filled up. It can be very loud and just about every fan is basically sitting on the edge of the sideline. The rows on either side only go 4 deep at the most. If you've never been to a game there I challenge you to show up on February 13th when Bracken County comes to town. Better get there early because you may not get in. And if you do, you'll see the atmosphere is unreal!! Game times: JV at 6, varsity at 7:30.

I understand what you mean but it can still be a very intimidating place to play especially if you've never played there.

Campbell/Brossart, Augusta/Bracken can get LOUD.

This gym is just horrible to watch a game in. Too small and not accommodating to fans. Parking is terrible and if you can find a seat once you get there you are lucky. Benches are actually the first row on the bleachers :no:. If you are fortunate to get stuck in the top you have a nice peice of plexiglass to look through. How awesome is that

I've been to a lot of big ball games in my lifetime. But the loudest gym is Bracken, I don't know why. Mason/Augusta (part 3) the one night where Polar Bear fans show shades of orange, and Bracken/Augusta this year. Man what tough place to play

Probably Brossart and Augusta, but I don't think any of them are terribly difficult.

Na I'm good. I'm just tired of hearing about that little puny gym like it's such an amazing place to watch high school games.

 

Been there several times for a wide array of events and it's just not all that like some on here portray it to be. Needs major upgrades to catch up with society. It's almost 100 yrs old for god sakes.

 

I'm just greatful for technology these days and radio broadcasters popping up all over the region so I don't have to go watch another game down there. The nightmare of parking and seating is over. All I have to do is click a link and listen.
