There is a new athletic director listed on website, Nick Reed. Know nothing about him. Also has Maureen Kaiser listed as new assistant athletic director.

I hadn't heard about the head AD leaving (Jay Graue). Assistant AD Tony Harden (a really good guy and girls cross country coach) left for Brossart.

How about "plasti dip" spray. I've never tried it, but know you can pick up a can for $7 at autozone and give it a try. Or if anyone has done this, does it work or a big ordeal?

I'll jump in with the 2 stupidest ways I hurt myself. Took my oldest daughter fishing and as luck would have it she caught a decent size bass on her first cast. She couldn't take the hook out, so with her still holding the fishing rod, I tried to grab the fish with my right hand (i'm right handed) and proceeded to get the upper set of a hook stuck past the barb into my hand. The fish was still hooked and so was I. Hurt like the devil with the fish flopping around and me still attached. Finally got the fish unhooked with my other hand. Went to the house and had no option but to use a needle nose pliers and push the needle thru and then cut it. Ouch Second was...I was giving a cat a shot and nothing would come out. It was clogged somehow and was a new needle. I stupidly thought there must be some tissue or something clogging it, so I put a empty syringe and pulled back about 2cc of air and put on the bad needle. I wanted to see what was clogged so i was doing it over my hand so I could see. Darn thing was really clogged, I pushed as hard as I could and the needle shot into my palm like a blow dart. Hurt like the devil.

It would be hard to believe that a Dr. as well respected as Dr. Kremchek would steer you wrong. What was the first opinion that was given? What is the recovery time after surgery if you/your daughter goes the surgery route?

"Coach" Gil Eisenmenger. Coach died earlier this week on Easter. He was a great coach and man. St.Henry's old high school court is named after him for all the work (30ish years as a coach) he put in. He was my 8th grade coach and had a knack for coaching and getting the best out of kids and shaping them into adults. Going to games, you had a white shirt and red tie on and better have a sock hat. One time after practice he told me and a couple others that I had to run 200 laps (not at the same time) around the gym. I had gone to one of the varsity games and while standing in the crowd I was chewing gum during the National Anthem. Another boy had on a hat. Every sporting event I go to and hear the Anthem I think of him and those 200 laps and why he made us run. I have no problem with it. His visitation is this evening and funeral Saturday morning.

Haven't seen a boxscore. McNeil was east MVP and Bradshaw was west MVP.
