Matt Otte getting it done never on nov 30 would of anyone of thought Conner beats New Cath this year . What is wrong with New Cath ? Would this be happening under Ron Dawn ?

NCC: Hall 18, Sp. Pangallo 11, Moeves 11, Henschen 8, Wurtz 8, Luken 6, St Pangallo 5, Neff 4, McDaniel 2.

Can't imagine Conner had anybody who could guard Wurtz. Did he not get the ball?

An observation from a Conner fan about NCC.

 

NCC didn't pound the ball enough inside. When they did they scored the 3-4 times they entered the ball to the post. They had open shots but the ball didn't fall in for them last night. Hall had a good game, but had to do a lot on both ends which seemed to wear him down. Finally, NCC just didn't look interested in being there. I was sitting behind their bench and there was not a lot of "let's get this" from the players. I thought with NCC's size advantage they would have given Conner more problems and got them in foul trouble.

 

One big change for Conner is Gambrel now playing more point and letting Craddock spot up. Craddock had some open shots last night and hit them for 26, he didn't miss many. Conner has one advantage on defense, they are all pretty much the same height so switching like they do doesn't create a lot of mis-matches. You go from one kid who is 5'11" to a 6'1" kid, not much gained by the offense in a switch like that.

Wow. Very surprised at the shots taken towards NCC coaching. Players gotta play, it's not all on the coach and staff. Every coach in the history of the game has had teams go through rough stretches, NCC has been fortunate enough not to have many of those instances. When you play for a program with a successful history you take everyone's best shot,day in and out, and it's difficult to keep your game at a high level. Lighten up!

Is Hemmerich leading the region in scoring? If not, he has to be close. Nice player that should have options at the next level.
