Big semi final matchup between Blessed Sacrament and Beechwood 8th grade on 11/19. They are 2 of the better teams in NKy. Will Rolf and Walter Mattingly have been playing really well for the Tigers..

What a battle that was tonight in the 7th grade final between St. Henry and Beechwood. Beechwood hit a 3 in the closing seconds for the win. The kids for both teams played like they were playing their last game.

In the 8th grade final it will be IHM vs Beechwood. IHM beat St. Catherine from Westwood on one side of the bracket. This was a very close game with IHM pulling it out in the end. The Beechwood vs Blessed Sacrament other semi final wasn't as close. Beechwood led by double digits most of the second half. I didn't think the Tigers actually played that well either.. The final should be a really good game with probably the two best 8th grade teams in the area squaring off today at 5pm..

I would say that @StXBomber88 has some great pictures of this game (St.Henry/Beechwood 7th). PM him or perhaps he will post a link to the photos.

They are always excellent.

Thanks for the updates. Go Saints!

Beechwood won the 8th grade beating IHM in a very good game. Congrats Tigers!!

We played right before this and stayed to watch most of first half. Very entertaining fast paced high skilled game. Some of these kids are going to be special. Especially when they add a few lbs. Very impressed

Always a great preseason preview of local teams. Very well run tourney

If IHM and Highlands are two of the best, Holmes is right there with them.

Who said anything about Highlands?

I heard a fan had to be removed this weekend. Any details?

BW and IHM have some length that is also talented. Nice skilled long players.

Beechwood has beaten all of the top teams in 8th grade already this year. The only other team that might give them a tough game would be Conner imo..

Meant IHM and Beechwood. Holmes 8th would be there as well.

Beechwood already played them and beat them in the Erlanger Tourney.
