Holmes is very good and physically more mature than most teams..

I heard a fan had to be removed this weekend. Any details?

 

My son and I went to the 8th grade BW vs IHM Championship game and did not see anyone removed. Both teams fans, coaches and players showed good sportsmanship.

Maybe an ejection earlier in the weekend?

It happened in the semi when IHM was playing St. Catherine from Cincy. One of the dads from St. Catherine's got tossed and then called one of the refs a racial slur.. It almost got real ugly!!

It sounds like it DID get real ugly. What a shame - feel bad for the child and the whole team. I hope the school takes some action to hold the parent accountable - that behavior should not be tolerated.

If IHM and Highlands are two of the best, Holmes is right there with them.

 

I think Highlands moved up a couple of their better 8th graders to the Frosh team so they may be an avg team this season.
