One of the things I noticed watching the game, was that the players don't seem to enjoy playing with each other. Seemed to be jawing amongst themselves. Certainly not a cohesive group of players.

That has to be from Rev share not including NIL.

The power 4 Conferences Champions, will be seeded 1-4. Then you have 8-12 more slots available, depending on if you have a 12 or 16 team playoff. Those final 8-12 teams will be seeded 5-16, then you play 1vs16: 2vs15 etc. But there will be no G-5 schools included. You can have a 12 or 16 team playoff for the G-5 schools it's like the NIT in basketball. Between last season and this year, should be proof enough that no G-5 schools deserve to be in the big boy playoffs. It's nonsense to have these schools taking the place of a ND or a Texas or Vandy or BYU. One of those schools would have been much better games and a possibility of winning vs Oregon or Ole Miss than Tulane or JMU had. In addition, there is a ton of money in TV contracts and I'm sure the ratings for those games would not have had the ratings a ND/Texas/Vandy/BYU would have had. Sustainable? It's easy, fans want to see big time football, play big time football even in their nonconference games.

Currently there are about 67 schools in the Power 4, for the sake of this argument, I have dismissed the Pac-12 because when they add the schools they are adding, they are going to be no stronger, than the MAC, AAC, Sunbelt or any other G-5 conference. I have also not included ND because they are not in a conference. But if we add ND, we are now at 68 Power 4 Schools. Those 68 schools have a 12-team playoff, and if you want your 24-team playoffs then you have a G-5 12 team playoff. Last year we had a G-5 school receive a first round bye, they got 31-14 beat by Penn State. 12 teams are enough, but please no more G-5 schools, in the big boys 12. Give the G-5 their own 12 team playoff.

This goes to prove that NO Group of 5 should be in the playoffs. If Oregon takes care of business hopefully that will put a nail in the coffin for the Group of 5 moving forward

I think these Championship games are elimination playoff games. Duke beating UVA was an elimination for the ACC. UGA beating Bama was an elimination game for Bama. BYU was eliminated today by TT, the only ones who really had nothing to lose was IU and OSU. They were in regards, and with it being a close game, both teams will get a first round bye!

My top 4 seeds in the CFP: 1. Indiana 2.Georgia 3. OSU 4. Texas Tech

While I know the game is played between the white lines, Coaching has a huge part in the game plan. Making sure that the players understand the game plan. When I think of the two coaches and no disrespect intended to Coach Ganaway, and the year he has had at OHS, it has been tremendous, no question about it. But Coach Burns, this is not his first rodeo, he won several rings as the DC at Boyle, and we saw what Boyle did tonight to Franklin. Now, I am in no way suggesting that is what PC is going to do to OHS, but I would not sale PC short. I think Coach Burns, will have something a wrinkle or two to throw at OHS, that they may not have seen on tape before. Something about Coach Burns, can't put my finger on it, but we will see and I may eat crow. If I do, would someone, please have the salt and pepper ready?

I'm not blaming it on one play, but that one play stopped Boyle until.....the infamous whistle. It's one play that had an outcome on the game. Just like 2 blocked extra points had a big outcome on the game.

I agree, the one thing I do not like about the playoffs is allowing Tulane/JMU in over a P4 team. But you know, since you are the Guru, that when we do expand to 16, that the 17/18th team will be up in arms because they did not get in.

I understand you're point, but they can have injuries in the 2nd round of the playoffs, there are always those what ifs. I guess in honor or Roy Kramer, and they chance he took many years ago with the SEC going to a Conference championship game, I say let's let them have them.
