Great win for the Colonels. Good win for the program. NCC has some very talented kids in their future too. I stayed for the all tourney team. You could put together a nice football team with the size of some of those kids.

Clyde: NCC is good, don't get me wrong, but I believe you have them a bit too high. In my humble opinion, a good coach with decent talent can beat them. Still there is parity this year, fo' sure.

CCR, Will you be broadcasting this game? One other factor for everyone to consider is that Coach Listerman is having surgery to repair an injury he suffered pulling a baby from a burning building, er, I mean keeping Mash from doing a kamakazie landing during the St. Henry game. There is a pretty good chance CovCath will be coached by Coach Mo and Coach Trainter. I, for one, am interested in seeing how this impacts CovCath's game.

The last two year's regular season games were actually four games. Each half can be looked at as a separate game. CovCath won 2, (the first half of each game). The Cru won two games, the second half of each game. The key to the final stats is that St. Henry won their games by a wider margin that CovCath. I would really like to sit through a half time session with Coach Faust. To win, CovCath has to win the half time regardless of the score at the end of the 2nd period.

Oh, and unless someone steps up and shoots over the zone..... well, you know what that means.

Connelly only played in the first period and sat the remainder of the game with an injury suffered in morning game. Again, F/T shooting is plain awful. The bottomline, however, is that BBF is correct. These boys need to play much more aggressively than they have in recent games.

I have learned that Coach L didn't put Connelly back into the game after the Technical foul because that is his 'policy'. It didn't appear that the foul was anything flagrant or violent. While that is certianly the Coach's choice, I like to hear him explain the rationale since he himself was T'ed up after blowing up on the sideline. I don't think the lesson he intended really came across.

Not to be too argumentative, but someone has to be responsible. There is way too much talent and depth on this team to lose like they have done in the last two outings.
