Montgomery went down on his first night back, his left knee again, looked like a bit of blood too, he was in a lot pain whatever it was. Hate to see a kid go down once, but twice with a knee injury I don't want to think how bad he feels. Maybe he should have just waited for baseball, But I know it's hard for a senior to just accept his HS career is over.

He was clearly in a lot of pain. Very unfortunate.

I agree that CovCath could make some noise in the 9th if they can get by HC in the district.

 

Bench after Schult gets a steal, hits a layup and gets fouled. They wanted this one real bad.

 

Schult's defense was intense all night.

Here's hoping we don't get real bad news from Travis trying to come back prematurely. Best wishes for a very full and speedy recovery to a fine young man.

Saw a few CovCath parents at Barleycorns along with Mark Wehry and was told it was indeed an outstanding game and a signature win for the Colonels.

 

Sorry to have to miss it but I was doing the stats for the Freshmen Tourney games.

 

BTW CovCath Crazies you guys need to come out strong for the Freshmen Championship game on Monday night.
