In 7th grade boys, Turkey Foot knocked off defending regional champions Woodland 43-30.

What grade? In 7th grade boys, Turkey Foot beat Twenhofel 50-26. I believe they will play Woodland in the championship on Thursday. Does anyone have any other updates from tonights games?

Anyone have some good information on who you expect to be the top boys team in each grade come regional tournament time?

The only thing I would not enjoy about playing teams twice is possibly having to beat a team 3 times to win the championship, hard thing to do but I guess that's what would make the tournament more entertaining.

Dixie was down by 7 with 2:37 left in the game and went on a 13 - 0 run to finish the game.

Ryle spikes the ball on 4th down to end the game.

:scared:

Heard Brandon Hatton had some big plays in his first varsity game... any details?

Thought it was pretty clear on IHIGH that the shot was a 3 pointer.

Couldn't find it either, watching it live on ihigh on the internet though...

Dawgs28, i know you were looking for a radio broadcast earlier, if you go to Covington Catholic website you will be able to find a link to their athletics internet radio with the game.

Being held at Dixie Heights.

Absolutely, love to see teams who have had rough seasons turn it around when they need to.

St.Henry gets their spot in the regional tournament with a 5-16 record.

Very good point, Pre-season #1 team in the 9th region loses first round of district tournament by 22 points.

Sets up a Boone/ Ryle 33rd district championship.

Just listened to the radio broadcast, Cooper had the ball down 1 with 10 seconds and Bradley missed a shot for the lead. Brown gets fouled after grabbing the board, makes 1 of 2 free throws to get the final score.

I believe he was around 61 points shy of 1,000 coming into the tournament, so I would like to know also. Would be awesome to see him get his 1,000 point on his home floor in the district championship.

Final from Dixie.

Sounded like a good one.

Final?

Trammel, not positive about Hatton but I'd say it was probably right around the same.

He ended up with 18.

Downs did not play due to illness but Pitts stepped up knocking down two 3's and hitting a couple shots on penetration for Boone and handled the point pretty well. Trevan Brown is an absolute beast on the inside for the Rebels. Matt Trammel had a big game on senior night minus a couple turnovers at the end and even on one of his "off" nights, Brandon Hatton shows why he is one of the best players in the region.
