Sets up a Boone/ Ryle 33rd district championship.

Very rough end to an extremely rough year for the Cougars.

Very good point, Pre-season #1 team in the 9th region loses first round of district tournament by 22 points.

I still believe Stauffer has to be mentioned in the POY discussion. He single handedly took over this game with a 16 point performance in the 3rd. This after being held to 6 in the first half. Conner had no answer for him and had one FG in the quarter. The game was put on ice at this point.

Hats off to the Tristateinternetsports.com crew. I checked in for the first time ever tonight and enjoyed their broadcast.

Absolutely. Kid plays with intensity , aggressiveness, and skill. Love to watch him play.

Without a doubt! :thumb: 26 pts and 16 boards tonight.

Wow what a fall from grace for the Cougars. Will they come back next year with the same high hopes?

Stauffer was a man among boys tonight.

Congrats to the Raiders on the W.

Agree that Stauffer played great and was the difference in the game. But where was the effort from Conner in the second half? (Ryle 34 to 11 in the second half)

WOW. Was I wrong. I figured it would be very close. Conner goes from a 2 point lead at halftime to an embarassing blowout loss. Credit to the Raiders and coaching staff. Congrats to the Raiders on knocking the Cougars out in the first round 3 years in a row. And, a special congrats to Coach Mullins for turning this year's Ryle team into a tough-minded bunch and defeating an arch rival 4 times. Good luck vs. Boone Friday night.

Million Dollar question my friend.

Million Dollar question my friend.

Coaching is at issue IMHO. 6 of 8 losing seasons in Hebron and this year's team with many experienced seniors was supposed to be a threat to win the region. 3 years in a row not making the region and 2 years in a row with embarrassing blowout losses to Ryle. Just did not see a team that was together in the second half. Do you point to the players or the coach when effort is not there?
