Cooper had a 44-43 lead before Boone made two FT's with 10 seconds left. It was a good game.

Very poor officiating in the second half. I honestly don't believe in dirty refs who are on the take. But I can certainly see why several Cooper fans would think that the refs did not expect Cooper to win, so they did not intend on allowing them to.

Pretty harsh. Give some specifics. I'm sure the refs didn't go into the game saying that they had to do whatever to make Boone win!

Bradley's performance down the stretch of this game was spectacular. Boone had no answer for him. Great game. Boone dodged a big time bullet.

He ended up with 20, game high. I have no doubt that he had the most rebounds in the game as well. I don't think that any of the other Cooper players were in double digits. They were getting after it tonight though, lots and lots of hustle and heart.

 

Boone better wake up and get some fire in their belly, they seemed to struggle tonight getting going. A double Boone/Ryle district final (boys and girls), should be good games.

What a great game. Cooper's defense had Boone baffled to say the least. Cooper was down 43-40 with the ball with about 40 seconds left and got a quick score from Bradley. Boone came down and Cooper got a huge steal and a break away layup.

 

At that point it was 44-43 Cooper and I believe it was their first lead of the game. Boone came down, shot went up by Downs and a foul was called... I did believe this should have been a no call, but the ref saw it otherwise. Downs sunk both free throws to make it 45-44. Cooper had 10 seconds left, they got it in Bradley's hands, but he just couldn't hit the shot.

 

This was a very hard fought game and I believe if Cooper could have made some free throws early in the game, they could have came away with a victory tonight. Good luck to Boone in the finals against Ryle!
