B-Ball-fan
CovCath started game on an 8-0 run. Cooper fought back taking a 32-28 lead into half time. Colonels game out swinging in the 3rd to regain lead. 4th quarter Cooper kept it interesting. Cooper had the ball with about 6 seconds left after a missed Reidenger free throw and instead of launching a 3 with time ticking off the clock, they threw it into the paint and got nothing off, ending game at 59-56. :idunno: Not sure why they did that? Thelen with 26 Machinot 11 Only Colonels in double figures Colonels really needed this 'W' as a pick me up heading into the Toyota Classic @ Scott Co. after their losses to Holmes and NewCath. Cooper gave them a scare though.

Theoldguy
Congrats to Cooper on a well played game, that is until that last shot. Still hard for me as a Basketball fan to understand why you pass up a trey, even if there is a player guarding you, for a two point shot down three. #10 Bradley played a whale of a game and I believe he netted 14 to lead the Cooper Team while Langley had 13. Cooper helps out CovCath tonight by only converting on 5/14 FT attempts, while again the stripes only allow CovCath to the line for 6 FT attempts and CovCath converts on 3 of them. Theoldguy
I must say that the CovCath Crazies while small in number for this contest, were outstanding. Great job gentlemen, indeed you made me proud of you tonight by thinking outside the box! I loved the wave in the fourth!

paNDA
JV winner? Very close game, Cov Cath came from behind to win this one.
Theoldguy
CovCath JV did beat Cooper by a score of 46-36 on the outside shooting of Mr Nick Fredrick who scored 15 points on 6/10 shooting of which three where trey's! Cameron Murphy had 9, while #25 Pratt had 10 to pace Cooper and #20 Cook had 7, all of course unofficial!
NKYThreeFer
Cooper could play the role of spoiler in the 9th region tournament. They havent netted a signature win yet, but they've come awfully close on several occasions. I wouldn't want to play them in the postseason. Walter
A little surprised this game was as close as it was. Cooper has a nice team, but I would've expected a better showing by the Colonels after back to back losses.

What a pure shooter.
EZ Living
A little surprised this game was as close as it was. Cooper has a nice team, but I would've expected a better showing by the Colonels after back to back losses. Cooper has played a lot of teams close but they are not a good shooting team and are terrible from the foul line. However you will not see a team work any harder than they do on defense and they make up for overall team talent with hustle and desire. People are seeing what coach Sullivan can get out of his kids and expect good things from the Jaguars down the road as they get a little more overall talent.
