  1. Hard to run the dribble drive against a zone, which was what Pendleton played 3/4 of the game. I tought the Camels could make a run and win it until Jolly went out with blood on his jersey.
  2. I think Beckham picks up where Sanford left off. I'll take LC by 17.
  3. I always felt Richmond was a great city to host the tournament. That being said, if they do move it, I would like to see NKU host it. If I'm not mistaken, the tournament did orginate in Northern Kentucky.
  4. Are any others teams in the state opening up with a district game?
  5. Its fun to read about, but at the end of the day, its only a scrimmage. Teams do not scout each other or prepare for the other team in any way. Congrats to Trinity, its certainly something to build off of, but if I were a fan of Scott Co., I wouldn't lose any sleep.
  6. Anyone can lift weights, you don't have to play football to do so
  7. I haven't seen anything on the other Johnson brother from Holmes. What's the word on him?
  8. What is the date of these scrimmages?
  9. Does anyone know anything about the out of state teams?
  10. I think you nailed it. The loss of Speed will hurt, but they always seem to find a way to make it to the regional tournament.
  11. They have one great player (I don't car ewhat anyone says, he's a top 10 player in the region) and a good player in Schue kid. I think they will will their fair share of DIII games, but as far as competing in the Alll "A", I don't see it.
  12. I will be making a trip or two out to Walton to see this Trame team play. With the district growing, I don't think it will be long before Walton is making noise down state. I truely believe that, though it may be closer to 10 years down the road, than 5.
  13. Its between Beechwood and Dayton. Villa has the best DIII player, but he can only do so much. Until some body can prove they are worthy of the challenge, I'll take the Tigers.
  14. Fun game to watch. Zumdick and Pike played a heck of a game for Dixie, while #11 and Jenson played really well for Holmes. I heard number 11 is a freshman, and if thats true, he's going to be a stud. In my opinion Holmes outplayed Dixie inbetween the 20 yard lines, but the colonals were able to punch it in while the bulldogs settled for field goals or failed 4th down conversions.
  15. In my opinion, Thelen will be top 6 or 7 by years end. I like his style of play. If Cov. Cath. turns to him on offense, he could be a force.
  16. The only knock on him is his height, correct? How tall is he and how is his outside shot? Thanks.
  17. Holy Cross festival is tonight. I guess their going to have to wait awhile for everyone to get back from this game.
  18. Lloyd is always going to be up and down, as should all 1A and 2A schools who have not built dynastys. Some years talent is there, others years it is not. I think the Juggs scheduled this game hoping talent would be up this year.
  19. NCC needed this. Happy to see a NKY team come out on top.
  20. Boone's linebacker core looked very suspect tonight. I think the Rebels will have some long practices in preparation for next week.
  21. Sophomore Greg Clemmons scored 3 TD's and had a key interception on defense to lead the Bulldogs.
