What is up with LLoyd? I am an alum now in Louisville with sons at Trinity. The Erlanger Lions are always good so what is happening?

 

I know Erlanger goes through these stages of growth and decline every ten years. Is the community old and small again?

The JV was in after the first series of the second half. I know Coach Trosper personally he would never run the score up on purpose. There were a lot of missed tackles and kids playing out of position which allowed Conner to score very easily.

If you play a team that allows you to put your JV in early in the 2nd half you've made a mistake scheduling that team.

 

The last two games have done nothing to prepare Conner for 6A or for Dixie next week.

Not really. Anything goes in the first half in my book. Conner can't just play vanilla offense just because Lloyd is not very good.

The NKYFL Lions players are going to Beechwood, SK, Dixie, Ryle instead of Lloyd. They see the advantage of open enrollment and want to win bottom line.

Lloyd is always going to be up and down, as should all 1A and 2A schools who have not built dynastys. Some years talent is there, others years it is not. I think the Juggs scheduled this game hoping talent would be up this year.
