  1. Is Conner's kicker hurt? He never misses extra points and Conner never kicks that many onside kicks.
  2. Manual has to get past Conner first. :sssh: Good luck. GO COUGARS!
  3. Cougars all the way. It's going to be a close one just like the two games last year. Conner 48 SK 42
  4. The JV was in after the first series of the second half. I know Coach Trosper personally he would never run the score up on purpose. There were a lot of missed tackles and kids playing out of position which allowed Conner to score very easily.
  5. Final and if not mistaken i believe this is the biggest home opener win for the Cougars in school history. Congrads Cougars keep up the hard work.
  6. Conner wins huge. West will have the game of his life and Pugh will run all over Lloyd's defense. Conner 49 Lloyd 7
  7. If CCH wins the regional tournament which region will they play or do we still not that yet?
  8. I went to a Freedom game and i saw that alot of the players on the Freedom as well as Evensville were wearing metal so i don't think the rule of no metal is strongly inforced.
  9. Why can't metal spikes be worn at Champion Window Field. I know they have turf there now but it's not like it's going to tear up the field.
  10. Final in 5 innings. Nick West pitched an excellent game. All around great game and a big confidence booster going into the biggest game of the year for the Cougars.
  11. This game, I believe, will be played at Boone not Conner. Shuttleworth's return to the Cougar's line-up added a huge burst in the order that Conner has been missing. Great to see the young man back and making some noise.:thumb: I can't wait to see him pitch again.
  12. How many homers does Maile and Darner have.
  13. You have your opinions but in the games this year that i have seen him catch he has let more ball reach the fence than Parker Ryle has. Yes, it might be because the pitches are to far outside that he just couln't reach them but everytime that ball goes to the fence another runner advances. If you saw him in the begining of the season there was at least 5+ pass balls a game. Now that Ryle is back there i havn't seen any runners advance from a pass ball.
  14. Pugh is a good catcher but he doesn't block the ball as good as Parker Ryle. Though Ryle's pop time to second is not as fast as Pugh's, he has already picked two guys off first. There is a sufficient amount of balls that are being blocked when he is behind the plate. As long as Pugh's bat is still in the line up IMO this is the best move Arlo has made.
  15. The game against HHS was cancelled so Conner would have fresh arms because they have 3 games this weekend.
  16. The last on I can remember was at Conner four years ago. I can't recall who they were playing but there was runners on first and second. Nate Baynum caught a line drive at short stepped on the bag and threw on to Ben Wigger at first.
  17. The game will be played at Ryle tonight at 5pm. What is everyone's thoughts on this one. It's going to be a good, close game.
  18. Stats from the Enquirer WP Samad (1-1, 6K's) LP Connor (0-1) Hitting leaders: NC-Connor 2-3; M. Giesler 2B Hitting leaders: C- Roberts 2-3; Pugh 2-4; Noll 2-4; Brake HR, 3 RBI
  19. The final score of this game was 9-2 not 8-2. The Cougars looked like the team everyone thought they were going to be last night. The hits kept coming as they put a beating on the 9th region tournament Champs from last year. Lets hope the Cougars keep the sticks hot for their game Wednesday against a pretty good Ryle squad.
  20. Assuming the sun can come out and dry up the field I think that this game will come down to defense. If Conner can make the play and less errors I think they should come out on top. Conner can't leave runners on base they have to get them in any way possible. I haven't heard much about New Cath but I know they have good pitching and can put some runs on the scoreboard. This one should be a good one.
