Conner has a strong inside game and the guards do not turn the ball over. Witht that combination, they can compete night in and night out with anyone in the state in my opinion. I'm excited for their meeting with the Rebels of Boone County.

Newport lost everything, Villa lost just about everything. This game will produce a lot of new names in the box score. I think Coach Snapp gets his first victory with a 16 point win.

No. If it were a regular season game, perhaps I could buy into it, but not when the season ends. There are no moral victories in the playoffs, only painful defeats.

Officials will always do their best. As weird as it may sound, in a game like football, I think a lot of calls would be easier to make if an official had a seat in stands overlooking the plays. When the officials are so close, it is easy to be blocked from certain things going on. I trust that all officials are doing their best and while we do not see "perfect calls" all the time, we do see their best effert.

I like the list. I think Fant should be in the top 10, but not #2. In my opinion, he belongs around 7 or 8.

How did Dixie Heights do?

I know it's just a scrimmage, but is GRC now the preseason favorite? How much stock should be put into this? For those who were there, was GRC clearly the better team, or just the better team that day?

You could bring in the late John Wooden and he wouldn't be able to turn them into winners overnight. It takes time to turn a program around. Step one is getting the kids to buy in. Step two is getting the best athletes in the school to play. And step three is winning. Ludlow still has a long way to go before they reach step three.

Bellevue can only go up. If I'm the coach, I go young and take my lunps building for the future. Does Bellevue have much talent in the Junior or Soph classes?
