Smart money is still on UK. It's a perfect fit...

Does his Huntington Prep teammate going to FSU have any effect?

Also RP the article does mention that the move means Wiggins will be able to participate in the McDonalds All American activities now.

In the event UK is Wiggins' choice and Randles, what kind of roster would that be? Good gosh.

I don't see that happening not sure if they'll get either. IF they did though UK would have the most talented team of all time possibly and probably some decent depth as well. Guys that stayed after 2012-13 would likely lose minutes but I'm not sure some will be in a good enough position to leave after this season. Would certainly be exciting as a UK fan.

Who will be the biggest competition for UK in getting Wiggins?

Is UK the actual favorite or just the assumed favorite to sign Wiggins?

It's 100% Florida St. Not buying the trying to get more school's involved thing, because I believe he's doing it so he can at least have the comfort of more options. Pretty much UNC, KU, and OSU weren't involved because of UK. Just about every assistant thinks he's UK's, and fear recruiting against UK. But again, Wiggins' parents attended Florida St, and were world class athletes, as well as his friend XRM is attending FSU next year. As GT said though, the smart money is on UK. Wiggins + UK = A match only found in heaven.

Well I usually call Kentucky, God's Country...so that works for me!

It's getting easier to see why Cal has openly been talking about his desire to go 40-0 before he retires...could happen next year if everyone falls into place.

Zero

Wholeheartedly agree.

If UNC is the biggest competition for UK getting Wiggins then why is it all we've heard for the past year is it's Florida State? I've been reading some reader's comments on ESPN and more than a few of the comments have him a heavy lean to Florida State with UK as a 2nd option. UNC is not mentioned very much. Maybe something has changed in the last month to sway him toward UNC, I don't know. But I have a hard time seeing them getting in on the tail end of the recruiting battle and suddenly becoming a huge factor. I will say, though, it is a little worrisome for UK that he decided to skip Big Blue Madness. Many of the commenters seem to think he likes to be the star of the show and at UK there's too many other stars to share the limelight with.
