November 6, 201213 yr Dakari is a true 5 so not related to Wiggins situation... I keep thinking Wiggins is bigger than he his. So... PG: Andrew Harrison Wing: Aaron Harrison, James Young, Andrew Wiggings Forward: Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon, Derek Willis Center: Dakari Johnson, Marcus Lee 9 player class? :dancingpa  IIRC, UK has 7 scholarship guys that CAN return next year, plus 5 committed recruits. That's one free spot left. You have to assume at least 1-2 early departures though, so room for 7-8 guys in 2013?
November 6, 201213 yr I'm still unsure over the Wiggins situation. I think he is clearly the best player out there but when he basically told everyone to start recruiting him that kind of gave me the hint that he isn't as interested in Kentucky as he once was. Hopefully he is still though. As for Dakari Johnson, we still need help on the frontcourt so this will definitely help if he chooses to come play here.

WCS could be gone as well if he continues this progression. Poythress won't leave if he continues to play like this and neither will Harrow.
November 6, 201213 yr Polson will get moved back to walk-on if they need a scholly. Malone's scholly will be first.
November 6, 201213 yr What is the deal with Wiggins? I thought that for a while that he was a big UK Lean or at least a UK Lean...is he no longer interested in UK? Handlers getting involved? Diva?
November 6, 201213 yr Polson will get moved back to walk-on if they need a scholly. My numbers weren't including Polson, Malone, Long, or Lanter. Hood, Harrow, Wiltjer, Noel, Goodwin, Cauley-Stein, Poythress
November 6, 201213 yr Talked to a very connected national source that said Syracuse and Florida are the two he is hearing on Dakari...
November 6, 201213 yr Some of you all crack me up with the way you take everything a recruit says as gospel. Let it all play out, Cal has a pretty good track record.
November 6, 201213 yr I think the Dakari news is great... If he comes to UK is Lee a 2,3,4 year guy? Is Dakari going to be a spring commitment? So waiting on Randle, Wiggins, Gordon, Johnson.... whew I love being a UK fan.

November 9, 201213 yr Article on Gordon. Visiting this weekend. UK recruit Aaron Gordon is not just a dunker » UK basketball recruiting news Thanks for posting Clyde. I liked the kid's thoughts on Coach Cal's pitch: “I think it’s pretty much like what you’ve seen with his shows on the Kentucky All-Access on ESPN there,” Kennedy said. “He lets you know, ‘We want you. We don’t need you, but we want you. We’re Kentucky and this is who we are, this is what we’re about, and this is how we do things.’ I think he’s very up front with guys and lets them know that he’s going to take care of you and you’re going to become better. “He goes through what it’s going to entail being a Kentucky basketball player. And it’s definitely something that, as a basketball player, it’s appealing. You have all of the facilities. You have the great fan base. You’re going to be playing on the biggest stage.”
