November 2, 201213 yr His relationship with Donovan, only way he doesn't go there is if he really thinks he'd benefit that much more by being at UK. I guess the biggest question is does he want to play in the front court with Chris Walker or Marcus Lee? Playing with Walker might allow him to play his natural 4 whereas playing with Lee would kind of force him to play the 5 depending on what Nerlens and Willie do.
November 2, 201213 yr His relationship with Donovan, only way he doesn't go there is if he really thinks he'd benefit that much more by being at UK. While his relationship with Donovan should not be ignored, i think he is UK's in the end because of what you said at the end there. I think he realizes that if he truly wants the best opportunity to go pro, and be in the spotlight he will choose UK. I don't think we get Wiggins, but I think in the end we get Randle or Gordon.
November 5, 201213 yr Author Dakari Johnson is now a 2013 recruit. My lord this is shaping up to be a class! Shaping up to be on par with 07'.
November 6, 201213 yr My lord this is shaping up to be a class! Shaping up to be on par with 07'. Dakari Johnson is a heavy Florida lean from what I heard. Walker at the 4 and him at the 5 would be ridiculous....especially if they get Ranfle for the 3.
November 6, 201213 yr If UK get's Wiggins and/or Gordon the other 16 SEC teams might as well cancel the 2013-2014 season.
November 6, 201213 yr Author Dakari Johnson is a heavy Florida lean from what I heard. Walker at the 4 and him at the 5 would be ridiculous....especially if they get Ranfle for the 3. They are going to be good enough as it is with Hill and Walker, especially with some guys coming back. If they add just another solid piece or two to go with it they will be scary. Dakari or Randle would both fit the bill.
November 6, 201213 yr Author I know they're still in high school and only the future will tell how good the class truly is, but this is shaping up to be a star studded recruiting class. Wiggins Parker Randle Harrisons Gordon Dakari Walker Young Vonleh Hill Compared to 07' (in which I feel was the best class to come out in a while, perhaps ever) Rose Griffin Mayo Beasley Love Harden Gordon Patterson Then second tier guys like Deandre Jordon Kyle Singler Bill Walker Jerryd Bayless Nick Calathes Nolan Smith Morris twins Johnny Flynn (stud in those days) E'twaun Moore JJ Hickson Dejaun Blair Anthony Randolph Chandler Parsons Cole Aldrich Jeff Teague Jajuan Johnson Robbie Hummell Austin Daye Austin Freeman James Anderson
November 6, 201213 yr Author The 2007 McD's All American Game was in Louisville, so if you were like me and got a chance to go watch it couldn't have been a better class to see.
November 6, 201213 yr Jason Jordan from ESPN says UK in drivers seat for Dakari Johnson... Is that telling about Wiggins, or is UK just going to take then entire top 10?
November 6, 201213 yr Author Jason Jordan from ESPN says UK in drivers seat for Dakari Johnson... In my short life I've never saw a recruiting situation where a school has so many elite targets on their radar that it may cost them a couple of elite targets. Not a bad spot to be in though, Cal is going to have to install a first come first served sign here eventually. With Wig, Randle, Gordon, and now Johnson all still on the radar it's going to be interesting to see how things pan out and who goes where.
November 6, 201213 yr Is that telling about Wiggins, or is UK just going to take then entire top 10? Dakari is a true 5 so not related to Wiggins situation...
