NKU vs Louisville

Recommended Posts

Coming up Sunday, Louisville huge favorite, but has some injuries and

appears to be a little less than a great team. Not sure what to expect from NKU this year, but do they have any chance of competing against Louisville as well as they did a year ago? Looks like a Faulkner Justice rematch from their last state tournament game.

Worth going too?

It should be worth going to in order to see what both teams have and to see the new arena. NKU just had its Halloween Hoopla tonight and the transfers we got in look to be very athletic...no scrimmaging but you could just see the athleticism. The Norse transfers are Bobby Shannon (from the College of southern Maryland but was originally going to go to Marshall), Josh Tabb (from Tennessee), Malcolm Eleby (from St. Bonaventure), and James Cotton (from Maryland-Eastern Shore).

Here are NKU's roster and schedule links as well.

Louisville's run and gun style of play may just Keep NKU in this game

I think NKU can run with them and shoot with them

Jennings is the only Cards player that is a tough match up

Louisville is likely winner of this game

but-----

bet NKU hangs around until late

Pitino says that Preston Knowles and Kyle Kuric have practiced well and separated themselves from the rest of the team. I'm curious how Siva looks.

This one could've been much closer if NKU shot at all from the outside. They were terrible in the first half, particularly.

Louisville has a ways to go. NKU cut the lead to 9 points with about 5 minutes remaining, but U of L hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put it out of reach.
