Sadly you probably are right. Some of the shots he made tonight were insane, so no way they shoot as well next game. Which if they don’t shoot well, they probably will lose by double digits.

This is facts. 

I've loved Calipari and silently stuck up for him the last few years.  I think it's time he moves on to his ambassador role and UK find a new coach.

Tried telling y’all.

- Zero evidence any type of defensive stop could be made when it counted most down the stretch. Teams like that don’t win in big moments which is why UK going down isn’t a total shock.

- I nearly puked when I saw Mitchell was starting. Yeah, I know his numbers looked good in the end and he tried, but I just haven’t been a fan of the chemistry with him on the court. Maybe had Thiero started alongside of him I’d been more pleased. The 7 footers did not belong in this game.

- Not a good night for the Sheppardites.

- Ironically, I thought UK defended ok in the first half. You’re being dishonest with yourself if you simply can’t give it up for Goehlke going next level nuclear. More than half of his makes were highly contested. All you can do is shake his hand and play on.

- UK had a good thing going on offense, but the lack of interior skill didn’t allow a high enough conversion rate.

- Did Theiro kick Calipari’s dog or something? Almost like he was dog housed for this game. 

- Cal can go on into his emeritus role.

No excuses for him at all.  Also no excuses for thinking starting Sheppard fixes everything.  He did NOTHING in the postseason. 

Rupp Rafters crashed at the end of the game.

I don't see how Calipari survives this.  Fans are going to be in open revolt.  It's unacceptable to lose to a #15 and #14 seed in 2 out of the last 3 NCAA tournaments.  This team is lucky they even beat Providence last year!

People talk about Reed as a lottery pick.  Sorry, but I'm not seeing it.  Name me ONE person in the Association that he can actually guard.  He played scared out of his wits in the SEC and NCAA tournaments.  If a GM takes him that high, they are going to get fired.

Jeff Sheppard looked like he was going to make Reed come back for a sophomore year after that putrid performance. Seemed like he was in his head way too much. Sucks we didn't even get his C game.

I’m truly surprised that Oakland won, obviously a big win for them. I do believe that it’s fair to say that Cal’s time has passed as head coach for UK. It’s time for UK and Cal to go new directions.
