My prediction is that this is just the beginning in terms of possible cancellations, delays, etc.  The incidence map is starting to take a turn to what it was back in early November or so.

The delta variant spreads so fast that should peak by end of this month then fizzle fast. That's what it did in UK and India and they were a few weeks ahead of us. One to keep an eye for potential cancellation is JCPS since they were barely allowed to play last year.

Scott in NKY has cancelled all activities for football the rest of this week because of a positive test on the team.
No Scrimmage Friday vs Cooper.

I understand if something happens to a member of the team but not just because.

I don't think you'll have to worry about the "just because" part. Things are going to happen. I don't know what the answer is, but I can't imagine every single member on a team avoiding Covid. Somebody will come down with it.  I don't know the answer as to what should happen when someone on the team gets it. Right now with the way it's being handled, the best shot for a team to get through the season is for all players to get vaccinated. At least with the vaccine (for now), you won't have to quarantine after coming in contact with someone with a positive result.

I agree but rather you can talk these young kids who feel invincible into getting vaccinated is yet to be seen you would think that with the money NFL players make they would all get vaccinated but that’s not been the case so far.
