Getslow
“The Fifth Season” by N.K. Jemisin. Seriously, how did it take me this long to get into this? Every single book of this series has won the Hugo Award and I’m just sitting here reading nonsense.

Getslow
Emily Bazelon is speaking at the Mercantile Library in downtown Cincinnati later this week. Not something I'm hugely interested in, but figured I'd read it ahead of hearing her speak on it. Been reading her other stuff and listening to her podcast for a long time. Teaches at Yale Law School and writes on legal issues for the NY Times Magazine.
Getslow
Also just getting started on this. Liked the first one so much I got the sequel from the library as soon as I could.
AFbrat
I like this thread! A lot of interesting books and you get to ask people what a book is about and what they liked/disliked about it...

Pura Vida
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens Always fun to snag a “hot” book on Readers Express at the Library, when I was #40 in line ha ha. Good book, definitely recommend! (can someone tell me how to cut/paste the pic of the book into this thread? lol)
