Campbell County freshmen were winless last year. Why do you put them in the top 3?

8th grade team this past season was solid, and I believe beat Highlands in the large school championship. The 3 he listed were the top teams in the large school division over their 7th and 8th grade seasons.

Why does Campbell always have good football programs at the middle school level but they usually struggle at the high school level?  Maybe the better football players transfer to other schools?  They are always one of the top teams in NKY in almost all their other sports but continue to struggle in football.  I don’t get it.
