Jumper_Dad Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Hawaii 5-0 theme if my son calls "Daughters calling" song for baby girl A song that is personal if my wife calls Old school phone ring for everyone else. Law and Order duh dum for text I don't use vibrate much because I rarely have my phone in my pocket or some place I'd feel or hear vibration.
plantmanky Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Whatever the settings where when I got the phone. I have never had a song ringtone.
rjs4470 Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Whatever the settings where when I got the phone. I have never had a song ringtone. Song ringtones, for whatever reason, annoy me whenever I hear them on someone else’s phone. My phone stays on silent most of the time as I’m in meetings much of the day. When I do have my ringer on, I use one of the basic default rings already loaded in the phone. Even when my ringer is on, it’s always turned down to at least half volume. Loud ring tones (regardless of what it is) also bother me. I guess this is one of my few “crabby old guy” things.

Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) I don't used songs as ringtones anymore...I used a few of them over the years, the first fews seconds of "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" by the Stones, and the opening lick from "Mannish Boy" by Muddy Waters are the ones that pop to mind...but I don't want to run the risk of associating some of my favorite songs with being annoyed because my phone is ringing. I use the classic ringtone for calls. For my text notification, if I have the sound on my phone, which is seldom, I use this notification from Back To The Future: [video=youtube;3t-EYU10U3o] Edited June 18, 2018 by Colonels_Wear_Blue
swamprat Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Since my cell is my business phone for several different businesses, I get too many phone solicitations. The specialty ringtones help filter out the clutter.
TTS_JF Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 I've got bottle cap opening as text message notification, other than phone is on vibrate 90% of the time.
TAC Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Mine is on silent 95% of the time with vibrate and the flashing light when I get a call or text. It also alerts my fit bit. My ring tone is "old phone" text is "note"
cammando Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 I use the ring tone Jason Statham used in the movie Crank...
