So I'm out in Vegas right now and I'm seriously thinking about looking for that bet. I saw that someone made that bet on KSR at the Hooter's Hotel and Casino I guess. I'm thinking that is a good 50-100 dollar bet to place.

What would that net you if it happens? I'm decent at math but have never been a gambler, so I'm not sure how the payouts work

That may be true, but this team is loaded. If anyone has a chance to do it, this team does.

 

If the odds work the way they seem like they should. $100 should get you a 5k payout, is that right PP? If so, I would be willing to risk that.

50 bucks gets you 2500. If you've ever been to Vegas you'll know that losing 50 bucks happens as soon as you get off the plane.

Depends on how much your spending, imo. History says its unlikely, but it is possible. This UK team has as good of a chance to do it since UNLV did it almost 20 years ago. Not saying it will happen, but if someone has $100 to potentially throw away, it would be a better choice than playing the lottery in my opinion.

Never been, but I can believe that. That said, if you have an extra 50-100 to spend and are a UK fan, I would do it. Like you said, $50-100 isn't much to lose in Vegas. If I was able I would bet myself.

Well certainly I think the odds are better of this happening than winning the lottery - but then again you're not dropping $100 on lotto tickets most of the time. If you spent $100 on lotto tickets chances are you're hitting something worth money, even if it's a modest amount of $5, $10, whatever. Drop $100 on this and I maintain you could just as soon light it on fire and dance around the flame.

It's definetly possible you may be throwing it away. But if you have the extra money why not do it, if you gamble? I don't normally gamble, but as a fan of UK I wouldn't care to throw a little money at those odds. Especially given the fact that the opportunity to win usually isnt even close. To me its a little different putting money on your favorite team, compared to putting money on the powerball.
