August 11, 201412 yr For the record though if I was in Vegas the gambler in me would have to put money on that and UK to win it all. Regardless if they do or not it would bug me all season I didn't.
August 11, 201412 yr I'd blow $100 on it, absolutely. Wouldn't even think twice about it. And I saw that thinking it probably won't happen.
August 11, 201412 yr Author PP92 is trying to put the hex on. I'll be happy if we finish second in the SEC. Phhhtttt.....why would I pay to put a hex on? Money talks. Hell, I want to see Duke's odds also. Word up.
August 11, 201412 yr I gamble as much as anybody on here and always a huge UK fan, but I don't like that bet. Almost impossible to hedge that bet and basically that is what you need to do to profit from futures. I wish you luck and will root for the Cats in every game regardless if I bet on them, against them, or not at all!
August 11, 201412 yr Huge conflict of interest if UK is 39-0 and playing Duke in the championship game but as my best friend told me.....that's a win-win for you. I'm loving the 50-1 odds though. Nice deflect. Give us your answer though.
August 11, 201412 yr Author Nice deflect. Give us your answer though. I'd rather swallow the money and have Duke win. 5K isn't enough money for UK fans gloating about beating Duke for the title.
August 11, 201412 yr Same hype as last year. I'd take playing in the National Championship game every single year if I could. But we get the point.
August 11, 201412 yr So I'm out in Vegas right now and I'm seriously thinking about looking for that bet. I saw that someone made that bet on KSR at the Hooter's Hotel and Casino I guess. I'm thinking that is a good 50-100 dollar bet to place. What say you? Where are you making this bet at? Can you place it at any casino in LV?
August 11, 201412 yr I saw a ticket with this bet (on Twitter) from Hooters casino. All casinos have futures but they differ in prop bets like these. If I remember correctly, Hooters sports book was formerly owned by Leroy's and they sold out to someone else, can't think of the name. I believe they owned 4 or 5 books on the strip a few years back. I am thinking that the book in the Trop and Ellis Island belong to this group, so you would probably get same lines at each place.

August 12, 201412 yr Not for sure, but I will let you know after next week. I got a buddy at the Trop we usually go see if we don't stay there.

There are 5 tougher games in the non conference and only one is a road game. They will be favored in all of them including at Louisville IMO unless Louisville also looks good and is unbeaten. If Kansas beats them you're even but even better if UK wins but KU covers you're good.
