Most likely, but I'd say 3 in the postseason is a safer bet considering there could be upsets in the Sweet 16 where a 1 ends up playing a really high seed, etc.

Lots of it just depends on how each team is playing at the time, whether there are injury concerns, etc.

I agree, lots of variables! Also depends on your number of options when it comes to betting.

So I'm out in Vegas right now and I'm seriously thinking about looking for that bet. I saw that someone made that bet on KSR at the Hooter's Hotel and Casino I guess. I'm thinking that is a good 50-100 dollar bet to place.

What say you?

Don't anyone waste money on this bet....will never happen.....will lose between 5-10 games

What am I going to do with all these "6-0 in the Bahamas" t-shirts???? Ha ha ha!

Donate them to that church in Belize where the kids all wear Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Champion t-shirts.

This is the result when the Dominican Republic team added Karl Towns and played some of the (but definitely not the very) best players in the US.

This is a US team playing without LeBron, Kobe, Love, Durant, Rose (that night), George, Duncan, Leonard,... you get the point.

UK may have 8 or 9 pros on this year's team, but this game should put in perspective how far we have to go in all of this. Everyone remember this year that all of the guys we have right now aren't pros, and that guys like Randle and Young who would be the unquestioned leaders on this year's team couldn't even sniff the floor for the US squad that isn't even bringing it's best players into these games.

Not trying to be a hater because I love UK and hope we go 40-0, just trying to put things in perspective and chill on some of the talk about how this team hung the moon before they've even played an official game. I say these things because there was a segment of UK fans who needed talked off the ledge in 2011 (pre-NCAA), 2013 and 2014 (pre-NCAA).

Have the odds changed at all?

I wonder if I can still get those odds? :lol2:

I guess it's not as much throwing money away as I thought. Their defense has been what I didn't foresee. It's the great equalizer.

Still wouldn't shock me if they lose or fail to win the NCAA. Odds are against any individual team doing so. But it is obviously very much in reach and a much stronger possibility than originally thought.

I hate myself but I am glad I didn't make the bet. I really didn't want to have to start rooting for UK right now.

Kentucky winning out is a done deal imo. As you mentioned their defense is the difference. If they have an off night on offense, they can still hang with anyone due to their defense. That said, their offense has came a long way. Imo, if there going to lose it would have happened by now. From this point on, there are no trap games, they will come out focused every game.

That's what UNLV thought in 1991...

UNLV didn't play defense that remotely resembles the defense this UK team does. UNLV played a completely different style of game. Lack of a strong defense eventually caught up with them.

Tried to get the bet in but the person i go through couldn't get it in
