Walter
Sources say Ben Nevels is the new Big Dog in Covington. Superintendent really likes him. I could've told you back in Jan that he'd be the one that got the job. Getting his teaching degree was the only thing he needed before.

buttels
If so, the Bulldogs will be in great hands. Hate to lose yet another broadcast partner, but the program gets a big boost in my opinion.

doubledeuce
From what I heard is that they interviewed 6-8 people on Thursday and Friday. If true it seems like a quick decision after the interviews. However, he could have blown every other candidate out of the water and made the decision easy. Congrats Coach Nevels!! sportsfan08
I was told they only interviewed 4 and they were all internal candidates. Sound like a done deal from the beginning. Good luck to Holmes. They're schedule sets up nicely. They should wind up around 7-3.
