Someone questioned in the other thread if UCLA still carried weight with younger people and that younger people think more highly of Oregon. Since 2000 UCLA basketball has been twice as successful as Oregon.

Today's highschool recruits might, might know the last 5 years history...not 20 years worth. Oregon is better known due to Uniforms and Nike, not necessarily wins.

But, since 2014 both UCLA and Oregon have been to 3 Sweet 16 rounds.

Which is an indicator why many of the best coaches want nothing to do with them.

Cronin's name has popped up again recently, according to Jeff Goodman.

UCLA's athletic department being completely unable to get their stuff together seems perfectly in keeping with the PAC 12's front office itself being a complete mess.
