UK#1fanisback
The Camels returns some good football players. They should have some size also.
camelman
Camels will go as far as Tanner Lawrence takes them.
neilman1234
Camels will go as far as Tanner Lawrence takes them. Tanner Lawrence is a special football player but the Camels have some pretty good football players in addition to Lawrence. Andrew Helton should take over the reins at QB and I believe the Camels will go as far as he takes them. He is super mobile and has a rocket arm but was never developed under the old regime. The senior class is loaded and the sophomore class has some real talent to help compensate for a junior class that lacks in numbers. The Camels strength this year should be on defense, where they return 4 players who earned spots on the NKY 6A All Star Team: Tanner Lawrence, Reid Jolly, Peyton Anderson and Logan Harrod. The return from injury of DL Billy Spalding will be a huge addition for the Camels. On the offensive side of the ball, opponents will have to deal with Helton, Grant Jolly, Gavin Terhaar and Brady Singleton. The Camels definitely have big play capability on both sides of the ball. oldgrappler
They have some beef up front. I remember when they were freshmen they were really good and big.
godfather1
If those numbers for the O-Line's height and weight are remotely correct {Avg. 6'2" and 265 lbs.}, and the boy's are athletic, the Coaching staff should be able to have a hay-day against most of the defenses they will see this season. They should have no issues hitting the edges, and powering up the gut. Not to mention the passing attack. Good luck gentlemen.
camelman
Schedule looks favorable for the Camels. Should run the table until the season finale.
Voice of Reason
Looking for a huge season for Reid Jolly. He should be playing on the next level next year IMO. I see D1 TE potential in him.
CAP
Looking for a huge season for Reid Jolly. He should be playing on the next level next year IMO. I see D1 TE potential in him. Is he getting any looks or will he try to play basketball in college?
Fletch_F_Fletch
I can also see them going 5-5 with that schedule as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if they lost to HHS, Cooper, Ryle, SK and Cov Cath. I see HHS and Cooper really improving this year so those games may be toss ups.
UK#1fanisback
I don't see them beating CovCath, Ryle or SK.
BubbyKY
2018 isn't a rebuild year for the Camels, they will be a good team and improve on last years 7-5. They return quite a bit and will reload the positions that graduated players. New coach and scheme, but this Senior class will adapt and surprise.
