ThrillVille Cardinal51
Jeopardy as in yanking his scholarship? I’d hope not. Jeaopardy as in, that’s one strike and you won’t get another one, probably.

Colonels_Wear_Blue
Had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear at a court hearing stemming from a misdemeanor theft from JC Penney at Mall St. Matthews back in January. The actual arrest took place after he was pulled over on the Watterson Expressway here in Louisville for driving 30 over the speed limit without a valid drivers license. He had a similar traffic charge back in October for driving 18 over the speed limit in a school zone without a valid drivers license. U of L football recruit Jairus Brents arrested for alleged theft | WDRB.com I'm not one to judge a person by a photograph, but it doesn't seem like he's too concerned about all this based on the mug shot from the arrest:
Colonels_Wear_Blue
I definitely hope Jairus can get his act together in life, but I have to say that I'm with Deuce and Randy in saying that if I'm UofL, I tell Brents "Thanks, but no thanks." ThrillVille Cardinal51
Never mind, I didn’t realize how crazy he was. Hard pass.

It would be easier to say no thanks if he wasn't from Louisville. While I would pass on him, I wouldn't begrudge UL if they stuck with him simply because he's a hometown boy. neilman1234
That mug shot though. :ohbrother: That alone would drive me away from him because it's immediately after an arrest and he certainly doesn't show any awareness to the serious situation he's in. Voice of Reason
From a distance my thought is that UL needs to separate from him and he needs to get out of Louisville and go to school someplace else.
BigVMan23
If I'm a football coach at UofL I'd be royally ticked off... what he did is bad enough, but that mug shot would just seal his ticket home. Maybe that would be the wake-up call he seems to need..

PurplePride92
One would have to think, considering it's not an isolated incident. For me, this is the worst part about it. He has a past that concerns me about his future. I hope it isn’t too late to fix his life.
