Jumper_Dad
Whaaaaat? Maybe Champion will sign him up and he can corner the Payless Shoes market!!!
UKMustangFan
Love this. Feel bad for the kid though. His dad is costing him big time. Time to tell pops to shut up or he's done.

Jumper_Dad
FWIW Lavar's reasoning isn't completely wrong, it's just that his way of going about it that's been a nightmare.
HammerTime
It's easy for him to throw out all those huge names who could NOW support their own brand. That was not the case at the start of their career. Why would they want to license BBB? They are all highly successful companies that can grow their own brand. Good luck doing that on your own vs them.
KYgentleman
Flabbergasted.
PurplePride92
:lol2: :lol2: I hope the Lakers do the same. However, IMO this is still negotiations. He'll get his money. Not his BBB company though. Not yet anyways.

MJAlltheWay24
And 1 or FILA might be interested.
John Anthony
And 1 or FILA might be interested. Even then Ball has little negotiating room on price.
John Anthony
Only smart thing he ever did for his kids was the BBB. They are all professional athletes working for his brand. Fronts them money up front (before the NBA) but because of Lavar being Lavar, he's now screwing them on the back end.
Realreason
and to think, there were some people who thought the son and the dad were separate entities and one wouldn't effect the other. Some teams might feel the talent is worth it, but all I see is headache and trouble for whatever team brings him aboard unless he jettisons his dad. This guy is a first class clown show who thinks everybody should be privileged to join his circus.

I still expect him to sign with Nike or Adidas at some point also. This is all about Lavar's insistence to make money on his BBB brand.
