Nike, Under Armour & Adidas passing on Lonzo Ball

I mean they aren't going to put Nike out of business. But if they sell 10k shoes that will be more than any shoe deal Ball was getting as a rookie.

I doubt it, they aren't going to have Nike,UA level margins selling 10K shoes. They would probably be lucky to turn a profit.

You are correct in that statement, as it seems the shoe companies said no thanks. So basically he wasn't going to get a deal.

My guess is he's hoping for huge response and he can then go to the big brands and say see this is what we can do. Imagine what we can do together. We'll see if the sales are really there. Just trying to create leverage.

What is the cost to design and manufacture shoes? Can't be cheap. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. But if the sales information is coming from Lavar, who would believe anything he says?

Shoes are one of the most overpriced items out there.
