HammerTime
I mean they aren't going to put Nike out of business. But if they sell 10k shoes that will be more than any shoe deal Ball was getting as a rookie. I doubt it, they aren't going to have Nike,UA level margins selling 10K shoes. They would probably be lucky to turn a profit.

THE SHERIFF
If you get a size 14 or higher the shoes are an extra $200. On Barstool Radio this afternoon they said they already have 5k preorders or around 2.5 million. Who said they have 5k preorders, Lavar?

But if the sales information is coming from Lavar, who would believe anything he says?

So basically he wasn't going to get a deal.
HammerTime
My guess is he's hoping for huge response and he can then go to the big brands and say see this is what we can do. Imagine what we can do together. We'll see if the sales are really there. Just trying to create leverage.
