Highlands wins at home. I really do not know what to expect from Manual this year with a new coach and new west coast offense. It is tough the first year for a new coach, especially after following a long tenured coach, to get his plan implemented. I am looking forward to a much improved and tougher Manual team. I believe this game will be closer than predicted here and would not be suprised by the upset. I say Highlands by 7.

Maybe in Xs and Os, maybe. But what most don't get, even some St. Xavier supportors here don't get, is that wins and losses are not the top priority with Coach Glaser or the Administration at St. Xavier. As long as Coach Glaser still has the burn and wants to coach he will be the coach. The important factor is how he runs the program.

I would like to see 2 officials removed. This would help eliminate the shortage of officials we now face.

The venue was great.

Alot of these teams are lead by highschool coaches and even though not KHSAA sanctioned the teams look awful familiar. Many of them are feeder programs to specific schools. When football is involved the old nasty "recruiting" word is sure to come up.

To improve over 2009 they need to beat St. Xavier. Who was the previous offensive coordinator under Coach Nichols before he started calling the plays? I cannot recall his name or where he is at now. I heard over the weekend from some Manual parents that he may be in line for the job.
