Will One of the Big 3 win the Big school title again

Featured Replies

Will it be X, Trinity or Male that wins the title again or might we see another school take the big school title in 2010?

Yes, they will. I think we can now call it the Big 2 and not 3.

I wouldn't be surprised if Manual were to supplant Male as a member of the Big 3 in the very near future.

Right you are.

No disrespect to Male, either.

Will X and T meet in the simi's this year?? And from what I saw last year Henry Clay and Ryle will be very good this years. I know S.K. lost a lot, but they will be strong also. But in the end it will come down to the Big 2.

If I read the schedule right, I believe that Trinity and X's Districts play each other to start the playoffs. Assuming they are both 1 seeds that would make it a potential 3rd round(quarterfinal) game.

It will be X or T. In other news, no school from Livingston or Robertson County will make it this year.

Is this even a question? Trinity or X will win 6A every year.

With that in mind doesn't it get kind of boring following this class?

Here in Ohio I know it gets boring knowing that there are a few teams that are going to be there almost each year and for me I can not get to excited about the Div those teams are in.

Not for me. :D

"Boring" is not the word I'd use.

But we'll be working 5 days this (and every) week trying to remedy whatever feeling people are having about the all-too-common result in 6A.

The Big 2 is right. Male no longer seems to be a real part of the year in year out equation. I don't see anyone else in that discussion year in and year out. So it is the big 2. And Yes they will.

I think a great coach with strong school and community backing can go a long way in changing the culture of a football program. Look what Chuck Smith did when he came to Boyle County. Prior to his arrival, they basically had a mediocre team. He changed the local mindset about prep football in BC and now the team has won six titles since 1999.

I don't know about 2010, but I do feel that eventually another program will rise to the level of T and X in KY 6A.
