I agree that all of these games except one should be great.
Scott County at Trinity I am not so sure about. Trintity is so superior at playoff times it is frightening.:scared:
While I believe there are far too many classes, which causes some districts to have too few members, I believe the playoff setup and rotation it provides each year beats any seeding process or other objective process the KHSAA could come up with.
I voted for St. Xavier at Greenwood.
Greenwood has won its first regional championship and coming off its best season ever!
The whole community is pumped and celebrating the Tigers coming to "The Swamp". They are bringing in extra stands to accomidate the big local turnout expected. They are planning pep rallies and pregame tailgaiting. Football upset is in the air in Bowling Green. The emotions are high!
Will the Gators grab the Tigers by the tail, or can the Tigers go on the road into the dangerous Gator snapping Swamp and come out with a victory?
Can't wait till Friday to experience the atmosphere of another great high school football battle.
I just read that Greenwood won its first regional championship this past Friday and has accomplished a lot of firsts this season.
Congratulations. I am looking forward to the trip to "The Swamp".
How can one argue this? That is why I did not go with a paper prediction, but one based on the thinking you used above:
T
Greenwood
Scott County
X
The only conclusion.........
Trinity will win this game scoring the most points they haveall season while shutting out Scott County as they continue to their playoff prowess. (prowess = distinguished bravery, extraordinary ability)
No sandbagging here. St. Xavier really struggled last round against a Norther Kentucky opponent who was given little chance against them. Even after losing arguably the best back in the state Simon Kenton a Norther Kentucky football team almost beat St. Xavier.
Now the St. Xavier team must go on the road to Bowling Green and meet the Greenwood Gators in the Swamp. Greenwood is just off a resounding road trip victory and poised to declaw the Tigers on their home field.
No, I am not taking the bait. My rankngs stand as follows:
Trinty:notworthy:
Greenwood
Scott County
St. Xavier
