Why not? Another idea would be to have each district be it own class and the winner of the class be declared the state champion for that distrct/class.

Are the posters here saying that 3A football is so bad, that a team with all the problems Central has listed in this thread can win in a blow out despit all said problems?

In my opinion six classes is too many, three or most likely four would be right. However, this opinion falls on deaf ears. The bias against Louisville schools and the large 6A schools in Louisville has grown stronger in the last ten years or so. Whether spoken or not I believe it exists and drives alot of the decisions in setting up the class system. Short of completely segregating some of these schools from the rest, the KHSAA has went the 6 class route. Until the culture of the KHSAA changes we will be stuck with what we have now or even possibly further segregation.

What about Ballard and the other JCPS schools on the other side of the bracket? Couldn't 2 Louisville schools still make it?

And you think they would have been as successful in that division in Ohio as they have been in Kentucky?

Jim, When our grade school football team had our team mass to kick off the season our priest mentioned that you should not pray to win.......you should have seen the looks on my and my assitant coaches faces......we discovered what we were doing wrong all these years.:lol: I will say a prayer that all players and coaches do their best and that no one is injured.:thumb:
