In my opinion six classes is too many, three or most likely four would be right. However, this opinion falls on deaf ears. The bias against Louisville schools and the large 6A schools in Louisville has grown stronger in the last ten years or so. Whether spoken or not I believe it exists and drives alot of the decisions in setting up the class system. Short of completely segregating some of these schools from the rest, the KHSAA has went the 6 class route. Until the culture of the KHSAA changes we will be stuck with what we have now or even possibly further segregation.

What about Ballard and the other JCPS schools on the other side of the bracket? Couldn't 2 Louisville schools still make it?

And you think they would have been as successful in that division in Ohio as they have been in Kentucky?

Thats just great............deny a student, who is qualified to attend a school and meets all academic standards, the equality of extracurricular activities.

Jim, When our grade school football team had our team mass to kick off the season our priest mentioned that you should not pray to win.......you should have seen the looks on my and my assitant coaches faces......we discovered what we were doing wrong all these years.:lol: I will say a prayer that all players and coaches do their best and that no one is injured.:thumb:

Nothing snide Trinity Alum, just meant to be funny. I hope you guys win. I have coached several of the Trinity players in grade school and wish them nothing but success and the best. Do not get me wrong, I am not a fan, I HATE LOSING TO TRINITY, but I can get past all the rivalry and cheer for those guys.

The topic of this thread is not how impressive Highlands is or is not, it is "how many titles would they have in the great football state of OH in their appropriate classes". We all know how many of you here on Bluegrasspreps.com thinks how impressive Highlands football is, but that is not the topic of every thread.:irked:

I am not saying Highlands could not win occasionally against higher level competition as they have consistently done in the past by scheduling such schools. However, if you put them against tough competition in their class year end and year out, I do not feel they would fair so well in their class in Ohio.

They actually do provide alot of information, but I agree, it is difficult to navigate.

If she could have played football I am sure something could have been worked out.................

Back to the thread topic...........I believe Highlands would have never won a championship in Ohio, maybe one at the most. I believe Trinity would be a dominant force especially in recent history so I will say ten. Highlands plays mediocre competition in their class in Kentucky, thus the 19 soon to be 20 championships. Trinity has played the best competion available in Kentucky due to their classification and is so dominant and progressive under Coach Beatty, they would have faired well in Ohio.

Keep Trinity's offense off the field. Dominate the time of possession by eating up as much clock as possible and scoring a touchdown and extra point each drive. No turnovers. Get turnovers and turn them into points. Oh yeah and no turnovers. Did I say keep Trinity's offence off the field.

Within the rules an athlete can live in another state and compete in KHSAA. I disagree with your AKA.

It is rumored that Coach Beatty has been seen in the maternity ward twice at the local Catholic hospitals and once undercover at one of th Public hospitals. How mayny players will Male be bring to the game? I do not know how many players Trinity will be bringing to the game, but I do know how many it will take.

It is a good thing that St. Xaveir is in the same class with Trintiy or otherwise Trinity would rule the world. Highlands is very lucky to be in such a lower class as not to play the best year in and year out.

I went back and looked at every year Highlands has won a state championship. I compared Trinity and St. Xavier to Highlands in those years and given all the facts, if all three were in the same class, Highlands would have zero championships. Plenty of room in all areas for all. But what do I know. I think football should be treated the same as basketball as far as alignments.

Entering the opponents stadium as a fan or player and feeling that almost undescribable feeling you get. The intensity, the excitement, the adrenaline rush as you feel the eyes of the packed house on your team. You are the advesary, the enemy, the invaider, entering thier house to snatch from them what could have been.
