  1. I have to agree Jim that the pressure is more on M for the very reasons you stated. Expect a packed house at Manual and a real raucous atmosphere. I hope you and the Rocks do the Tigers a favor and take as much wind out of the sails of Mannual as possible. I do not wish for Manual to have all the momentum of a T defeat when they come to visit the Jungle later in the year.
  2. If you think I am on the Rock bandwagon you are fooled.:jump: I may be hiding under the bandwagon but I am definitely not on it. I have stated what I think the outcome of this game will be and expect it to end in no more of a contest than the rock's last outing.:sssh:
  3. Now Jim this thread is a Manual/Trinity predictions thread not a Trinity Sandbagging/St. Xavier Sandbagging predictions thread. I have predicted what I think will happen in this game. What say ye.
  4. I knew that and stand corrected. UK by three. I will be there to witness 4 in a row.
  5. Agreed. Rocks continue the total domination over the opposition.
  6. This will be a battle at Brother Thomas More Page Stadium. This Lexington Catholic team reminds me alot of the team from St. Matthews in that they are young and full of talent. It will be interesting to see how the Tigers bounce back from near defeat at the hands of the Ballard Bruins. Lexington Catholic Knights will come in wanting the momentum a victory over the Tigers could provide them for the rest of the season.
  7. OK then. I pick Beechwood. (Isn't that what I did when I voted in the poll?) I would beg to differ, I believe that since the last time you "checked", there are many picks based on a "wish". I would never vote in a BGP poll against my team despite the odds.
  8. I pick Beechwood to win this game by one. No Way you say, crazy, nuts, you do not know anything about football! Maybe so. But as a fan of an annual underdog 6A program, I can only hope for the upset of the second best high school football team and program in the state each and every game they play. Go Tigers, dream the impossible and make it happen.
  9. Now Jim, there you go sandbagging. Highlands will be in your rear view mirror very soon. Enjoy the ride. There are very few speedbumps for the rocks along the way as proven by this road victory over a team that beat last years very good shamrock team.
  10. Looks good. I see DeSales hanging in the top five all season. My dark horse to make a further move up the poll are the Scotties. This team appears to have some talent and a whole lot of heart.
  11. UofL will not win this game. The simple fact is UK has won the last 4 and are again the better team this year. Mind you the better team between the two. Anything can happen in one game, especially in a rivalry game. It appears to me that UofL is destined for a last place finish in the Big East and UK will again finish a little over .500 and no where near contention for the SEC title.
  12. I have never seen St. Xavier lose to Highlands at Highlands. I have only seen Freshman/JV games there. What is the alltime home record for at Highlands?
  13. Just do not see the upset happening here. Whitley wins 35 - 6.
  14. Russell wins the turnover battle and wins by 6.
  15. Redhound are a howl'n after a big victory 35 - 0.
  16. Mason County gets a road victory over Montgomery County 10 - 7.
  17. North is the power in this game but Williams burg will win the second half and the game. 20 - 14.
  18. I will pick Ashland in this one 21 - 14.
  19. Harlan County is much improved. I will pick them 35 - 28.
  20. McMurray and Brohm out for St. Xavier. Ballard "program at a championship level". It will be a battle at Brother Thomas More Paige Stadium. http://www.highschoolsports.net/local/Louisville/article/2010308260090
