These two teams kick it off Friday night at Campbell Field in Corbin.

Fill me in on the Dragons, I know Corbin is always in the discussion as one of the best teams in the mountains, are the Dragons on the uptick?

I've just now recently moved back to Southeastern KY so I'm kind of out of the loop as well. Haven't had the chance to read many local papers or tune into good ol WYMT for my coverage. I've heard Corbin will be decent this year but not as good as The Redhound faithful are accustomed to. Corbin should finish anywhere from 6-4 to 8-2 with 2 or 3 playoff wins this season. They lost a lot of talent off of last years squad but still have some nice pieces to the puzzle.

Harlan has had good years here and there but are generally a single A team fighting for the last playoff spot in their respective district. JB Donahue is a great coach but just like any single A school in a town of about 2,000 with two local schools taking students, talent is hard to come by year in and year out. I would venture to say Harlan will probably be a 2-5 win team this year. This is just based off the past and what I was guessing. I've not heard anything on them either.

Donahue is a good coach, but coaching will only go so far. Corbin 38 Harlan 12

Can any of you Harlan Countians give us some insight on whether or not the Green Dragons are going to be any count in 2010?

The Dragons are a young team with many question marks. Only time will tell. Many tough games, not the least of which is this opener against Corbin. Then close with Knox Central. Hazard is the team to beat in their District Class A, but Harlan should be competitive for the runner up spot again this year.

Corbin 35-6.

Coach Donahue does a solid job at Harlan every year, but Corbin wil roll in this game.

Corbin 48

Harlan 7

Corbin will win this game. Don't know much about either one of them. Heard that Corbin will be down this season.

How is the offensive lineman transfer that Corbin got from Pulaski County looking for the Redhounds?

Redhound are a howl'n after a big victory 35 - 0.
