Does anyone have anything on this? I guess the longer they wait on the hiring the more likely they will go with a current member of Meyeroffs staff. Scheduling has mostly been completed for the coming year. I would think the new coach would want a little say in who he plays.

A great honor for both guys. Both are well respected in the area by coaches and players alike. If they were to add a plaque with all the positive things that each were responsible for during their coahcing tenure, it would fill the entire park. The park could not hold it, to large!

The great debate continues. The HBP rule is imho the most debated call in HS baseball. So many umpires call it differently around the state it is amazing. I was not at the game so I did not see what happened but nothing surprises me on the call. Side note, the ball hitting the ground, as someone mentioned, is irrelevent.

Who will pitch for Boone? Maines will obviously go for Conner

If this is true it is very sad for the umpire in question, and for the assignor not to know what was going on.

Is Tucker the Ace at Grant? 62 pitches is extremely effecient. I wouldn't think HC would be free swingers on top of it.

Sounds like someone has a bone to pick with Coach Roberts. Daddy with a son who didn't get to play much at Scott probably.

Great coach, teacher, friend. She may be sitting at the Head of the "best" table in NKY. Maybe even the state! Thought it is semi ironic the opposing coaches who play at Boone get to sit in front of the big "Nell Fookes Court" painted on the floor. That has got to be worth a few points mentally. lol Congrats Nell!

Tony and Scott probably know what they are doing but, Troy was a pitcher also. I am sure that is one of his strong suits.

Getting to two regional title games is no easy feat. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I do believe Scott has only reached the finals two other times in the schools history, prior to Roberts. One in the 90s and one in the 80s, Roberts did it twice.

Norton was the Head Coach at Holy Cross sometime in the 90's, left that job and I think teaching to be an assistant at SK?? I guess someone with more info on why can inform us on what happened.

Everybody has an opinion, but the bottom line is until its your team its not your rules. Coach Warner has his rules, as long as he is consistant with them for all ,including the stars, I say its fair. Even if its not the way I would do it.

Does anyone have any info on where they are on this job? Have they started interviews or are they even going to interview, with Coach Norton on the list?

I hope they don't need to "keep him fresh" many more times, sounds like the really need him on the field.

Coach L is a great guy. I wish him the best. It is obvious that he was pushed out by someone or group at CCH, or he would never had taken this job. He loves the place to much.

That is a huge number, how far ar the home fences at Rockcastle Co.

Sounds like the Cooper parents are now playing both sides of the coin. Heck it looks like that guy can win for losing, or is it lose for winning???
