cooperstown
Is this a guess or based on one of your "inside sources"?
Bluesport
They'll be down by 3 TDs by the time he gets in.
Qwerty1278
Which means he probably won't go in at all.

cooperstown
No guess, it is fact. Well that seems fairly definitive. So if they are down a couple scores after first quarter, does he stay out all game?
Sandman
Did he play in the first quarter last week in Lexington?
theguru
Did he play in the first quarter last week in Lexington? My understanding was yes last week but I don't know for sure. I talked to Coach Warner last week and I think the idea was to rest Travis in the 4th against TC.
poon
Travis played in the 1st quarter last week. I think he ran the ball the first 6 out of 7 plays and scored the first TD.
LoveTheGame33
This whole play no play game is silly. Travis is a talented football player that can play all four quarters if you let him. I'm not sure what's going on at Ryle, but if I go to see the Raiders play, I'm there to watch Travis go to work right from the start like I know he can. Colerain is going to be a tough opponent and saving Travis for the last 3 quarters won't make a difference. If it's a discipline thing again, then Warner needs to put a bigger foot down. JMO. NEERFAN
I don't see the point. They aren't playing Tates Creek, they are playing one of the best teams in the state of Ohio. He is the one player from Ryle who could actually play for the Cards. History says they are going to get beat so why would you agree to a game of this magnitude and sit one of the best players in the Bluegrass? Strange. StraightShooter
He missed a couple of practices due to sickness. Maybe its a team rule?
cooperstown
He missed a couple of practices due to sickness. Maybe its a team rule? I guess a rule is a rule, but it certainly is a shame. And I do know for a fact that Ryle has applied this rule in the past to other top players on the team, so they are being consistent if this is the reason. LoveTheGame33
Now, that's a very understandable reason for not starting. I hope Travis gets back to 100% strength by start of the second quarter .
