Since the freshmen don't generate as much attention as the varsity teams do, I was thinking we could have a thread dedicated to the young men playing freshmen baseball in NKY. If we could just get scores and any stats that people may have, I think that will help get some of the kids recognition. How are your schools freshmen teams doing?

Highlands 5 St. Henry 4.... Ricky Raisor throws 6 1/3 for the Bluebirds..

Same could go for the the JV teams.

NCC 6 Dixie 5 final from last night.

 

NCC threw a few different kids to get them work as they don't have any more games this week due to Easter.

 

Barth: 2-4, 2 R

Bartels: 2-4, 2B, 2RBI- the double plated the 5th and 6th runs for NCC in the top of the 7th

 

Lyons started for Dixie and went 5. 6K and 1ER. Conradi pitched the last 2 and had 3K while allowing 5R (don't think any were earned).

 

Strong: 1-3, R, a squeeze that plated 1

Eiben: 2-4

Rottinghaus: 4-4, 2B

No I will not be at CovCath on Saturday. I will be occupied up at DHHS.

Great outing for Mr. Raisor.. just ran out of steam in the 7th inning. Shout out to Jeff Orne for getting the save with bases loaded in the 7th and not allowing any of them to score. Diving catch by Keelan Donovan to preserve the win for the Birds, who are now 3-5 on the season.

HHS beat Scott 5-0 behind CG shutout by Walkenhorst, including 10 Ks. Nice effort by the Baby Birds.

Could have been 15-0. Scott made quite a few errors and highlands left a bunch on base. The Eagles only had 4 hits, 2 from Eli Sowder.
