I believe Beechwood freshmen beat Covington Catholic freshman. I don't know the score. I am not sure on this either but someone told me Beechwood freshmen have only lost one game.

Highlands 8 St. Henry 7... Birds were down 7-2 and rallied to win..

Highlands 8. St. Henry 7. Birds score 4 in the top of the 7th to win on the road. Great facility and ball park. Has to be the most cavernous outfield in N.Ky. Key hits by Doty and Cain to lead the late comeback.

Conner beat Dixie last night 12-5. Conner scored 8 runs in the top of the 1st. Dixie played very sloppy with several errors. On a side note, the Dixie coach pulled his team off the field in the top of the 6th inning. There was a play at the plate and the Conner player slid hard into home in what appeared to be a hard, but legal slide. He cleated the catcher and the Dixie coach went crazy and pulled his team off the field in protest. In the first Dixie-Conner meeting this same coach was ejected for arguing a call.

Forgot to mention the Dixie coach, while walking off the field in protest, threw a baseball from around the pitcher's mound into the Dixie dugout quite hard.

The obvious key missing fact - was there anyone in the dugout? I am assuming no since he had pulled his team.

Dixie was in the field, so most of the team was not in the dugout. However, there were still a few players in the dugout who were not currently in the game.

Is that Dixie's 2nd loss of the season?

Sounds like the Dixie program needs to start looking for a new freshmen coach.
