Holy Cross was missing two starters. They stopped pressing after the first quarter and played 2/3 zone much of the second half. They even had 7th and 8th graders playing much of the game. There was nothing more the coach could have or should have done.
Just wanted to see what people were hearing about the status of the "death penalty" that was going to be imposed on Holy Cross. There was quite the thread about this during the Winter with references by many on here to secret meetings and inside knowledge of the KHSAA procedures but yet nothing has come of this. Ironically 3 of the schools allegedly involved in the secret meetings are now looking for new head coaches. I would love to hear an update from all of the insiders that are privy to what's going on in the KHSAA.
Best friend works for Anderson Township EMS and he said that the worst crowds in terms of behavior and resulting emergency calls are by far the young country crowds. Not that a crowd like Motley Crue doesn't have issues, but they are older and more experienced crowds and tend to handle themselves much better.
