Jeff's a great coach but an even better person. We grew up in the same neighborhood. Scott should feel lucky to have him.

Without a doubt. He has also assembled a great staff from top to bottom, especially at the freshman level. Scott definitely came out ahead getting the guys that Roberts pushed out at SK. All you had to do was watch last nights freshman game vs SK last night to see that.

The Scott Freshman already have beaten SK twice and are 3-1 on the season.

Scott's JV team beat SK yesterday @ SK 16-7

That's awesome, because Scott's JV team is not very strong this year. They have some good players, but from top to bottom not very strong. Plus the only have 11 players on their team. Nice win for the Eagles!

Jeff is a great coach, but let's lay off Troy - guy can hold his own and is better than Finn ever dreamt of being.

Sounds like someone has a bone to pick with Coach Roberts. Daddy with a son who didn't get to play much at Scott probably.

Roberts did a nice job at Scott for alot of years. They should be greatful for that. I think gloating over a few freshman and jv wins is abit premature.

No bone to pick with Roberts....I liked the guy. I'm not sure why every not totally positive opinion is supposedly related to a disgruntled dad. I'm the last person you should accuse of that...if my kids play, they've earned it, if not then they need to work harder. And they've all experienced both sides of success and gotten no special treatment. Perhaps I should have been clearer. I think Norton brings a lot to the Scott freshman team. Many people here felt he should have gotten the SK job. I just simply think that Scott came out ahead in getting Norton to coach the Freshman team over the Coaching staff that left Scott to go to SK. All you have to do is just watch how the coaches handle themselves during the game.

Coach Norton is one of the nicest and knowledgeable baseball individuals I know. Outstanding Coach, wonderful Dad and Husband and in his every day job, Scott is a real life saver to a lot of people in need of gentlemen like him!
