  1. Hoping that my investment in Fort Wright pays off and we get a good report from the other side of the Licking.:thumb::sssh: Friends in enemy territory.
  2. Loved this game. Hard fought game. Way to go Birds.
  3. Stopped in to the last Spring game for '14. Few things where different from years past. But then again some things never change. Missing a few to baseball which is nothing new, O line looks "lean" and mean, and I like it. QB is awesome. Defense is picking up where they left off. Only problem I have is I wished someone would have had a roster.
  4. Dave was a special man. We are all blessed that he was apart of our lives. Prayers to the Lehkamp family.
  5. I could not be happier for him. All the best to Jackson. GO FLYERS
  6. Well, we were guessing it was a patch that was an upside down V shape that would go on the sleeve. Was that his thing or a Highlands thing? No other coach mentioned it. Guess Ryle will have some chevron patches in the coming years. HAHAHAHAAH
  7. I that what Highlands calls "60 minutes"?
  8. Was Lynch the coach at the football banquet that kept mentioning the chevron patch? Since when did the players get a "chevron patch"?
  9. I know of a recently retired fundraiser and I think I can find a cannon that is no longer in use. Just in case they are interested in raising money and a little NOISE.
  10. So then why don't they go ahead and announce it?
  11. Congrats to Chuck and I'm glad he has found a home. This is great for 6A.
  12. Big congrats to Beau. Looking forward to 2014 and Beau at the helm.
  13. Love my friends to death and their life is private. As for coaches of 18 to 20 somethings and teaching and coaching and hopefully along the way instilling values that they should be learning while in college to be able to prosper in life, yes, I would expect them to practice what they preach and I would hope it would be that of hard work, perserverance dedication and commitment payoff. It is not just about winning football games, but learning life lessons.
  14. August just can't get here soon enough. So happy , happy , happy. If I could do icons I would but for some reason , preps has been a stuggle lately.
  15. Looking forward to the announcement on Monday. Hoping I can make it. Youngest is heading to China the next day. Might be just one of those days.
  16. Was it Chuck Smith that said , "we out Highland Highlands"?
  17. Therefore, I take away from this year an even stronger drive to win STATE in '14.
  18. The excitement of each and every year never diminishes even after your players have graduated. Getting the chance to meet new football parents and loving that they include me with all their football fun. It brings back great memories of my own when they talk about this game or that play . Highlands will always be Highlands and they will have great years, fun seasons, great players and teams, and a great fan base. Looking forward to the new chapter in Highlands football.
  19. Big congrats to all selected players, but a special congrats to the well deserving boys from Highlands.
  20. I also have a great pic of the epic tirade. It was classic.
  21. Johnsonville Bratts. Sorry , had to.:dancingpa:banana::banana:
  22. Are they going to keep it classy and do it old school and classic in keeping with the old stadium or are they going to build a stadium like everyone else?
  23. Wow, I'm sure it is exciting for Ashland, but I'm kind of sad to see a classic go.
