And for the record I am 100% fine with UofL hiring Petrino and I think it is a great move as long as they realize it may not be for long and they are okay with that.

Good point. On Pardon The Interruption yesterday, Wilbon said "the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know". UofL knows Petrino is a liar...a boldface liar...and oh yeah, a complete and utter liar. But, they also know he's a good football coach. So, if that's the route they want to go. That's fine with me. The only thing I don't want to hear from UofL in the future, should something happen, is "my gosh, we had no idea".

I know I'm biased but I agree with him 100%. There's stuff I've posted here (check the politics board) that I would never say to a person's face. I used to frequent a UofL board that had a dedicated trash talk area and I was really bad there, 100% because of keyboard courage. I also have Facebook and Twitter accounts, both under my real name, I'm very careful what I post there.

 

I think that the people from this board who have talked to me face to face would say that for the most part my persona here if different from my actual personality.
