  1. I am partial to the offense but I believe you are right. The defense seem to play with more intensity and swarmed the ball.
  2. I don't know about the 2nd best conference the Big 10 may have something to day about that. Never the less the ACC is a strong conference. A preferred walk on means Lvle believes he is good enough to play D1 ball. They along with other schools will watch his progrss during the season and access their needs. It will just a matter of time before a D1 school offers scholarship. Good job young man.
  3. All are very good players. I would not be surprised to see most if not all these boys playing at the next level.
  4. I think there would be a conflict with UK schedule on Aug. 30th for the Bluegrass Bowl. Might be reason for the 29th date.
  5. Thanks. I remembered that he played/started first of season but I couldn't remember his name or position.
  6. There was another lineman that played early in season but got injured and was out most of the season. He was a transfer from St. X . don't remember his name but I think he played defensive tackle. Anybody remember?
  7. Technically you did not cheat. I believe Chase started the Madison Central game when Marty was out with injury.
  8. Does this allow the PWO to work out off season with the rest of the team?
  9. Can someone explain the meaning of "Preferred Walk On" as opposed to just a walk on. What are the advantages if any? Is the player in line for a scholarship?
  10. Sorry. Correction, Thomas Moore has gone to non contact camp.
  11. Check out Offensive/Defensive camp held at Thomas Moore. Two day contact camp.
  12. No you missed my point. The original comment was that Catholic would be foolish for not hiring Perry. All I am saying is that Lexington Catholic doesn't have to go begging for a good coach. If he is the choice he should feel flattered. His overall record does not jump out at you. By the way I was curious so I checked. Over the last 10 years Catholic has won 102 of its 135 games or 76% average without a single losing season. If Perry is the coach he will inherit a strong program with a strong returning lineup.
  13. Yes I have been to Washington County. All I am saying is that Lexington Catholic is a prime job and deserves a coach that has a proven winning record over several years, not just a single season.
  14. Why? His record at Washington County was not impressive. Lexington Catholic has a solid football history and needs to be sure they pick an established winner. He would be the one that should feel flattered.
  15. In the words of Hillary "what difference at this point does it make". UL knows the risks and will just have to accept the results of their actions. Which evidently they are willing to accept the risks for the rewards.
  16. We have attended several of these NUC combines. There is considerable trianing and instructions, with one on one lineman competition, and 7 on 7. You can start with local combine, then move up to top 100 regional, and then national competition. There is also a 5 star competetion and an All Amercian event. They do provide statistics and and overall evaluation of top players from the competition.
  17. don't forget started 2 year started OL Cameron Bailey named MVP Offensive Lineman at NUC Midwest Top 100 combine with invites to NUC All American events in Myrtle Beach and Texas vs World in Dallas. Plus Blue Grey All American event in Tampa.
  18. Don't forget the offensive and defensive line. Defensive line for most of the night kept Mercer rushing attack in check. Offensive line protected Reese and opened runnig lanes for Logan against a defense that stymied Boyle County.
